A new state law passed Wednesday that will enforce tough new regulations regarding drug companies and the medical device industry.
By a vote of 10-0, the Massachusetts Public Health Council passed new rules that will change the medical industry in Massachusetts.
“We will have some tools in place so that patients will be able to follow the money and find out what the full scope of the relationship is between drug companies and their health care providers,” said Amy Whitcomb Slemmer, the executive director for Health Care For All.
