Stryker CEO got pay package valued at $2.1M
NEW YORK (AP) — Stephen MacMillan, the president and chief executive of Stryker Corp., received a compensation package worth $2.1 million in 2008, down 7 percent from the previous year, according to an Associated Press calculation of figures disclosed in a regulatory filing made late Wednesday.
MacMillan’s salary rose 26 percent, to $1.2 million from $950,000, and the value of his other compensation, which included a physical, country club fees and travel on the company aircraft, increased 29 percent, to approximately $300,800 from $223,100. His performance-based cash bonus fell to $617,300 from $1.1 million, a decline of 44 percent.
In 2007, MacMillan’s pay package was valued at $2.3 million, according to a calculation by The Associated Press. MacMillan has been president and CEO of Stryker since January 2005
