Applied Spine Technologies Names New Chief Executive Officer

Applied Spine Technologies, Inc. (AST) announced today that Craig Corrance, who has more than 20 years of management experience in global orthopaedic industries, has been named as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Corrance was formerly the President for Centinel Spine, Inc. Prior to Centinel, Mr. Corrance served in senior executive roles for both U.S. and international orthopaedic and spinal product companies, of particular note Altiva Corporation and Scient’x USA, where he was instrumental in building businesses from start-up positions utilizing his experience of developing and commercializing technologies, fund raising, acquisitions and strategic and operational planning.

Mr. Corrance stated, “This is a tremendously exciting time to join AST, the company has a cohort of patients maturing to a one year follow up with the Stabilimax NZ® system, has recently commenced upon a second tranche of patient enrollment and collaborates with a renowned team of surgeons here in the United States”.

“Craig’s arrival extends the momentum that Applied Spine has enjoyed to date. Craig is a key component within the company’s strategic plan and his experience will assist with the positioning of AST as a world leader in motion preservation via dynamic stabilization” said AST Board Director Jeff Barnes.
