PARSIPPANY, N.J., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ — As part of Custom Spine’s continued growth initiative in the spine market, the company has announced the addition of three Vice Presidents to the sales management team. The three individuals filling these positions bring a deep knowledge of the spine and medical device industry and will be responsible for developing strong distribution networks in their respective areas.
Randy Cochran, the new Vice President of Sales for the Southeast region, brings a deep knowledge of the medical device and spine industry. His sales and management career started in the industrial and aerospace marketplace with his most recent position in that field at G.E. Druck, a division of General Electric that sold pressure sensors and calibration equipment. He then transitioned into medical sales with a Johnson and Johnson distributor, Depuy Mitek, which sold orthopedic surgical implants. Randy’s most recent position was the Southeast Regional Manager with TranS1, where his team received several honors of recognition for outstanding performance.
John Rizzo, fills a newly created position as Vice President of Sales for the Northeast Region. John brings with him over 18 years of sales experience in the medical device industry. He began his career at Precision, Inc. and went on to Oratec Interventions, where he received numerous awards for outstanding performance. After Oratec was purchased by Smith and Nephew Endoscopy, John began his sales management career and quickly developed to become Regional Vice President of Sales. Most recently, John held the position of Director, U.S. Sales for ReGen Biologics.
Finally, Custom Spine expanded their sales management team to include a Vice President of Sales for the Midwest Region, which has been filled by Dale Templeton who brings 25 years of medical industry experience to the company. Dale has held sales management positions in orthopedic and spine industry leading companies including Stryker Spine, Medtronic Sofamor Danek, Smith and Nephew Orthopedics and most recently Vertiflex Spine. As part of his responsibilities, Dale managed the surgeon and sales training programs, which is key to Custom Spine’s market penetration plans.
