Don’t Call it a Comeback…

I have had the great joy to post a great many articles in recent weeks announcing money raised for multiple early stage companies in our space. I wanted to put a quick recap for those counting at home. Just perhaps the economy is strengthening and companies are on the beginning of aggressive growth once again. That sounds like good news for all of us…

Since the beginning of 2010, companies have raised a whopping $215 Million ($131 Million since June!!)

July 2010
BioMimetic Therapeutics $45 Million
DFine, Inc $36.2 Million
DePalma Orthopedics $1.4 Million
Bio2Tech (Boston spinoff of Geo2 Technologies) $1.1 Million
June 2010
Baxano $30 Million
Anulex Technologies $20 Million
April 2010

March 2010

January 2010
