RSB Spine LLC reports big sales increase in 2010 vs. 2009

RSB Spine LLC, a medical device company in Cleveland focused on developing modular spinal fusion products for surgical treatment of degenerative disc disease, has reported big increases in sales for 2010 versus 2009.

RSB did not disclose dollar sales figures. However, the company said its sales in 2010 climbed 97% from sales in 2009, with a 184% sales increase for the fourth quarter of 2010 versus the prior-year period. The company also has reported an average growth rate of 33% for five sequential quarters.

The company did not disclose bottom-line results.

RSB Spine CEO John A. Redmond said in a statement that 2010 “was a very challenging year for implant companies, and our strong finish and consecutive quarterly growth are a direct result of unique products, great employees and stellar execution by our master distributor Paradigm BioDevices.”

“Our accomplishments in 2010 position us to achieve our strategic goals for 2011,” Mr. Redmond said. He was not more specific.
