The U.S. Supreme Court declines to hear an appeal of Stryker’s loss to Hill-Rom in a patent infringement lawsuit over hospital bed monitoring systems.

Supremes decline review of Stryker loss to Hill-Rom
The U.S. Supreme Court today declined to take up an appeal by Stryker (NYSE:SYK) in a patent infringement lawsuit against Hill-Rom Holdings (NYSE:HRC).

A federal appeals court in June overturned Stryker’s win in a lower court decision, ruling that the district court misconstrued the claim construction in a patent infringement lawsuit over hospital bed monitoring systems.

Today the Supremes declined to review the June decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
