AlloSource Awards Dr. Matthew Provencher The Annual Dr. Steven Gitelis Inspiration Award

The award honors a physician who understands and embraces the use of donated human tissue to help patients heal.

Dr. Provencher is a shoulder, knee and sports medicine surgeon at the world-renowned Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado. He is an author, lecturer, researcher and educator heavily involved in orthopedic arthroscopy techniques and the prevention of new and recurrent sports injuries. Dr. Provencher has held numerous local, national and international appointments and was recently named one of the Top 28 Shoulder Surgeons and Top 28 Knee Surgeons in the United States by Orthopedics Today.
