Symposium on Surgical Preservation of the Hip
January 8 - January 11
This 4-day course will provide a forum for surgeons experienced in hip surgery to advance their knowledge in the evaluation and management of young adults with hip pain. Information will be provided regarding the typical patient complaints on presentation and specific physical examination techniques, as well as the differing findings associated with the various hip pathologies. Pertinent anatomy will be reviewed in conjunction with the presentation of a systematic diagnostic imaging algorithm.
Discussions will focus on decision-making for a wide variety of treatments directed toward symptomatic improvement and long-term joint preservation.
Ample time will be set aside for case discussions held in a thought-provoking and casual environment with an objective being to explore the future directions of hip surgery.
