Isis Equity Partners has completed a £3.75 million replacement capital transaction in spinal implant distributor Surgi C.

The move marks the private equity house’s first investment into the secondary care market, having completed two health exits within the last six months.

Matthew Caffrey, who led the transaction, said: “Surgi C is an exciting investment with a broad range of innovative products that will continue to grow.”

Caffrey added that the firm would now look to acquire other businesses to help boost Surgi C’s market position.
