Medtronic Accepts $179M Judgment In Screw Case

Law360, New York (June 29, 2009) — Medtronic Inc. has agreed to pay Johnson & Johnson unit DePuy Spine Inc. $179 million to satisfy a judgment in a patent infringement suit over spinal screws, adding nearly $30 million in interest and new damages to an appeals court’s award earlier this month.
