OrthoScan, Inc. Launches HD Mini C-Arm at Annual Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Meeting

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–OrthoScan, Inc., a privately held medical device company based in Scottsdale, Arizona, launched the latest version of its Mini C-Arm product last week at the Annual Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons meeting in Las Vegas.

With its HD Mini C-Arm, OrthoScan provides orthopaedic surgeons with a state of the art solution for orthopaedic imaging. Key features include:

1) Smaller and lighter weight unit provides the surgeon better maneuverability;

2) Largest and most detailed image improves diagnostic capabilities;

3) Adjustment-free imaging allows the surgeon to focus on the patient as opposed to the machine; and

4) Improved surgeon control through wig-wag, sterile field keys, and laser alignment.

Surgeon Joseph Slade, MD of Yale University said, “The equipment’s improved image, maneuverability, and small footprint allow me to perform faster, safer, and more accurate surgeries.”

“We’re confident that our HD Mini C-Arm contains the critical features and benefits our orthopaedic surgeon customers are looking for in an imaging solution,” said OrthoScan’s President, Rob Morocco. “The team at OrthoScan spent countless hours in extremity procedures over the last 10 years, gathering surgeon feedback and developing a plan to build the optimal mini c-arm. The attention to detail from our clinical advisors and customers has resulted in a product that sets new standards in mini c-arm imaging.”
