Pioneer(R) Surgical Technology, Inc. Implants 1st Contact(R) Anterior Lumbar Plate

MARQUETTE, Mich., March 31 /PRNewswire/ — Pioneer Surgical Technology, Inc. recently announced the full launch of its Contact Anterior Lumbar Plate (ALP). This plate provides a one-step locking mechanism along with back-out protection and controlled screw toggle. Since its launch, Pioneer implanted their first plate on February 24th and to date are currently ahead of their schedule.

Dr. Thomas Highland from Boone Hospital, one of the plate developers, responded after his first surgery with the product, “We knocked it out of the park with these changes, especially the Inserter and Push Pins.”

This plate was designed for optimum synergy with the Pioneer Contact PEEK Anterior Interbody Spacer.
