Orthoscan, Inc. launches new TAU family of mini C-arms – the first mini C-arm designed for use with pediatric patients

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. (PRWEB) SEPTEMBER 16, 2019

Orthoscan, Inc., the global leader in mini C-arm imaging, is pleased to announce the launch of the Orthoscan TAU family of innovative mini C-arms. This advancement in mini C-arm technology includes three distinct models: TAU 1512, TAU 1515, and TAU 2020. The TAU family is also the first mini C-arm designed and approved for use with pediatric patients.

TAU 1512 introduces the next generation of mini C-arms. Exclusive dose-saving features, advanced Orthotouch interface, improved articulation, and flat bottom C-arm design are all packaged in a small and light-weight form factor designed to meet any budget.

TAU 1515 delivers a larger detector and live image to give users the freedom to view critical anatomy as it needs to be seen. Intelligent Dose Reduction reduces dose without sacrificing image quality. Additionally, a 160° orbital rotation allows acquisition of preferred views without stressing anatomy.

TAU 2020 incorporates industry-leading features such as the largest detector and field-of-view and the largest high-resolution diagnostic touchscreen monitor available on a mini C-arm. Innovations such as pulsed fluoroscopy and the optimized dose filtration allow the system to achieve significant dose savings.

The Orthoscan TAU family of mini C-arms are available for purchase beginning in September, 2019. More information is available at http://www.orthoscan.com.
